Happy Birthday Timmy!

Today was Timmy's birthday. My dad was so excited, he bought thecake, the decorations, not one but two cards, the plates and utensils. I was wondering why he was so excited, then I remembered that he hasnot been around for any of my kids' birthdays so this is his first.

But I was very much saddened by the condition of my mom. I wishTimmy's birthday was under better circumstances. I really wanted tocry because I know my mom really wants to help but can't because ofher condition. Then later in the day, she rode with us to safeway andI noticed a bit of a change. Even though she wasn't feeling 100%, andI doubt she will ever be 100%, she was making jokes and being kinda her old self.

Toy Drive 2007

Organizing the toys in my basement. I was so fortunate that I had people from Honduras and from the United States donate toys for my Third Annual Toy Drive in Ojojona. I was also fortunate to have friends help me organize them. I remember 3 years ago, hardly anyone donated and I had about 4 people help me with the packing of the toys.
